The industrial supply chain matchmaking conference, focused on Latin America, was held on Aug 26 in Jinan, the capital city of East China's Shandong province. The event aimed to bolster the industrial value chain's development in the province and increase its presence in the Latin American market.
Guests from the embassies of Latin American countries in China, investment promotion bureaus, and key enterprises in the region were invited to introduce the investment environment and cooperation opportunities at the conference. The event also featured exchanges of key project cooperation experiences.
Shandong province, a major pillar of China's economic development with its robust industries and supply chains, complements Latin America in sectors such as energy, agriculture, and manufacturing. Through practical exchanges and one-on-one talks, the event effectively boosted industrial collaboration and helped enterprises expand trade channels in Latin America.
The conference is part of a series of events organized by the province to promote overseas investment and cooperation. These events will be held 17 times. To date, seven events have been conducted, covering various regions such as Latin America, Malaysia, Central Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe. This initiative has established an efficient platform for the province's enterprises to expand international cooperation and integrate into the global market.
